Red & Silver football game tonight 7pm

Coach Drafts will have his 2016 Falcons on display for the first time tonight as the annual spring Red & Silver game will be played at Falcon Field at 7 pm.  The team has been working extremely hard and it will be exciting to watch the new look Falcons.  Come out and support our Falcons

Boys & Girls Lacrosse teams receive all metro selections

ERHS lacrosse players senior Carolina Ganan & junior Zach Gavora were chosen for the All Metro team this year.  This is ground breaking for our boys program as Zach is the first ERHS boys player ever selected for this honor.  Great job Falcons!

Cheer meeting set for tonight

The ERHS cheer program will hold a mandatory parent meeting tonight at 6:30 in the cafeteria.  Coach Fennell will go over her expectations and hand out information about upcoming tryouts.  Please plan to attend if you are interested in cheer!  Go Falcons!  

Butterworth selected as all metro water polo

Congratulations to Devin Butterworth on being selected to the First Team All-Metro Conference Water Polo Team!  Devin is the first water polo player at East River to be selected for this honor!  Devin has also earned a scholarship to play water polo and swim at Salem International University in West Virginia!  Congratulations and good luck

Falcons move on in district baseball action

Last evening at host St. Cloud HS East River defeated Liberty HS by a score of 4-1.  Pedro Hernandez pitched 7 innings for the Falcons and Liam Silvagnoli went 2-for-2 with a home run.  The Falcons take on top seed Lake Nona today at 4 pm at St. Cloud HS.  

Sports Physical Night Monday 4/18

The ERHS sports medicine department will offer athletic participation physicals for a cost of $25 in the gym from 6-8pm.  Doctors from Orlando Orthopaedic Center will be here on campus and for the first time ever we will offer heart screens to all athletes that are interested for $15.  

Softball advances to district final

The ERHS varsity softball team defeated Lake Nona HS yesterday by a score of 14-10 to advance to the finals against St. Cloud HS today.  Taylor Scala went 2-for-3 and Natalie Murphy was 3-for-5.
