Girls Volleyball info for 2016 fall season

Varsity Baseball HOME vs Orangewoood Christian – Senior Night – 4:30 pm Varsity Softball @ St. Cloud HS vs. Lake Nona HS 1st round of district play – 7 pm Varsity Track @ Flagler Palm Coast HS (District meet) – All Day Go Falcons!      

Varsity Flag Football defeats Poinciana

The Falcon varsity flag football team defeated Poinciana HS by a score of 14-0 last evening at Falcon Field.  Brittney Pursglove had 2 touchdown receptions for the Falcons and Rylee West had a TD pass and 150 passing yards.  

Varsity baseball wins big

The ERHS baseball team defeated Cornerstone Charter by a score of 11-1 yesterday at Falcon Field.  Pedro Hernandez pitched a no-hitter with 8 strikeouts and Eric Gershman was 3-for-4 at the plate.        

New football defensive coordinator named at ERHS

Coach Darrell Perkins will be the new East River Defensive Coordinator and a teacher at ERHS for the 2016 season. Coach Perkins spent last year at the University of Maryland serving as the defensive backs coach. Perkins spent the 2014 season as cornerbacks coach at Old Dominion University, Perkins coached at Connecticut for four years (2010-13),

Varsity Boys Volleyball gets the win

The ERHS boys varsity volleyball team defeated Evans HS last evening by a score of 3 games to 0.  They play again at home this evening.

Athletes enjoy free pizza parties

Several teams this year have gotten a free pizza party from the athletic department for beating our rival Timber Creek HS.  The latest group both boy and girls tennis enjoyed their payoff this past Friday.  Other pizza party challenge winners this year included JV Boys basketball, Varsity girls basketball, and JV boys Lacrosse.  Keep it
