Two former Falcons make University of Alabama Co-ed Cheer squad

Former ERHS athletes Zachary Vaughn and Elijah Vaughn have made the University of Alabama Co-ed cheer squad for next fall.  Their oldest brother Trey (a TCHS grad) is also on the team, and they have a younger sister that is currently a member of our ERHS varsity cheer team.  Roll Tide and go Falcons!  

Former ER baseball player leads team into NCAA regionals

Former ERHS baseball player Johnny Jones is set to lead the University of South Carolina Gamecocks into NCAA regional play.  South Carolina will be the number #1 seed and host the regional with Rhode Island, UNCW, and Duke.  Play begins Friday June 3 and continues through June 6th.  Check your local ESPN listings as they

Recently ERHS grad Jose Santana competed in the NCAA East Preliminary round in Jacksonville, FL on the 4×100 meter relay team.  Jose is a junior currently at West Point. ERHS Senior Athletes Earn All Metro Awards

Falcons win big in spring football game 31-0

The weather held off on Friday evening and the new look Falcon football team under the direction of 1st year coach Collin Drafts defeated Astronaut HS by a score of 31-0.   Now all the hard work of pre season strength and conditioning will get underway for the fall. Great job Falcons!  

Spring Football kickoff set for 7 pm tonight at falcon field.

ER softball alum doing big things in college

East River alum Rhiannon Sassman was the only freshman selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association first-team All-American softball honors after a season that saw her play multiple positions for the University of West Florida. She hit .356 with 14 doubles and 27 RBI while playing 34 games at third base, 19 at shortstop and

Red & Silver football game tonight 7pm

Coach Drafts will have his 2016 Falcons on display for the first time tonight as the annual spring Red & Silver game will be played at Falcon Field at 7 pm.  The team has been working extremely hard and it will be exciting to watch the new look Falcons.  Come out and support our Falcons

Boys & Girls Lacrosse teams receive all metro selections

ERHS lacrosse players senior Carolina Ganan & junior Zach Gavora were chosen for the All Metro team this year.  This is ground breaking for our boys program as Zach is the first ERHS boys player ever selected for this honor.  Great job Falcons!
